What’s Your Signature Scent?

My desire to smell nice was instilled in me by my Grandmother who would always spray a bit of her perfume on me before we went shopping together; which made me feel grown up and happy.  The perfume she would spray on me was White Musk; her signature smell and one that I instantly associate with her.

I found my current signature smell in 2006 and instantly fell in love with its sweet and flowery aroma. Despite the fact that some people may say that it’s childish, I am not ashamed to say that my perfume of choice is the Britney Spears endorsed, Fantasy. I’m hooked on its cute flavour and despite her also launching more mature and musky scents, the original Fantasy  is a perfume that I hope to have in my life for several more years.

However, I used to just put perfume on when I was going somewhere special but now that I’m older I wear it every day and it’s certainly become a pricey habit!

Do you have a signature scent or do you smell sweet enough to go au naturel?

  1. I use to LOVE White musk! I keep changing my perfumes. I’m on Chanel Coco mademoiselle at the moment. Chanel Chance is my next perfume that I’m going to try. Body Shops’ Moroccan Rose was my previouse scent. I love chopping and changing but I’ll keep looking for my signature scent!

  2. I’ve not smellt those Chanel or Body Shop perfumes but I think I’ll check them out next time I’m out shopping. Moroccan Rose sounds interesting!

  3. I don’t have a signature scent, I tend to use a bottle of perfume and then switch to something else. And it usually takes me years to finish one bottle as I just use one squirt in the morning on my wrist. My current scent is Vera Wang, I tend to choose florals over musks.

  4. ooo a friend of mine wears Vera Wang Perfume and its lovely! Floral smells are just the sweetest, I’ve been tempted to change my perfume a few times but I can never make my mind up and end up buying the same one! I’m tempted to branch out a little next time I run out though because the more I wear this perfume the less I’m able to smell it myself.
